Though the Charger features a much larger base engine, its starting MSRP is about $3,000 less than that of the 2018 Stinger. The Charger also features more powerful engine upgrades. Drivers can upgrade their Kia Stinger to the GT2 trim. That comes with a 3.3-liter V6 engine (still smaller than the base Charger) powered by 365 horses. Not bad. Well, those who are really looking for engine power should check out the Charger's upper trim levels. The R/T comes standard with a huge 5.7-liter V8 engine with 370 horsepower. Wait, it gets better. The R/T 392 and SRT 392 trims come with a 6.4-liter V8 engine powered by 485 horses. And yes, it gets even better from there. The highest trim level, the SRT Hellcat features a monstrous, 6.2-liter V8 engine with 707 horsepower. When it comes to muscle cars, the Charger flexes much harder than the Stinger.
