2018 Dodge Journey vs. 2018 Kia Sorento
Midsize SUVs are some of the most popular vehicles on the roads today. Many of them are efficient, stylish, spacious, and handle just as well as cars. The Dodge Journey perfectly matches all of those descriptions. The Journey is the smaller of the two Dodge SUVs currently in production, but that is not a knock on its performance whatsoever—it comes available with a 3.6-liter V6 engine powered by 283 horses.
How does this SUV compare to other similar vehicles? That is largely how we measure the prestige of vehicles, and rightfully so. You have to be better than the competition in order to be the best. We wanted to see how the Journey stacks up against the Kia Sorento. Keep reading to see what our research found.

Though the Journey is only five inches longer than the Sorento, those five inches are enough to give it an extra row of seats. The Sorento can't fit any more people than a small hatchback car can. If you have a family or are in need of transporting more people, the Journey offers up to seven seats and enough room for everyone to be comfortable.
The GT model mentioned in the chart above comes available with FWD and AWD. Those who want three rows of seating and extreme power ought to love the GT's roaring engine. Even with the optional V6 engine, the Journey averages up to 25 highway MPG. Additionally, there are up to 68 cubic feet of interior cargo space available inside the Dodge Journey if you are willing to sacrifice some passenger volume.
There is much more to the Dodge Journey than we can write about here. Read more or come in and see it in person. Schedule a test drive or just take a walk around our showroom. Whatever you decide, we hope to see you soon!
